ARTISTS IMPRESSION OF A 48,000 SQ FT MEGA MANSION IN SURREY, UK
An artists impression created by Charles Roberts Studios of Windlesham House, a new 48,000 sq ft mansion proposed for a 20-acre site in Windlesham, Surrey. This landmark mega mansion is designed in the Greek revival style by one of the UK’s most renowned architects and has an estimated £60m price tag.
Situated in one of the most desirable locations in the UK, the project is one of largest new country houses to be built in the UK today. The marketing of the home would have to be world-class to reflect the unique and iconic nature of the project.
The house includes 15 bedrooms with en-suites and ten reception rooms. There is also a state of the art fitness complex, billiards room, cinema, juice bar, ten-pin bowling alley, a ballroom and an indoor swimming pool.
Outside the immaculately prepared grounds feature an amphitheatre, a formal parterre and is dotted with follies, temples and outbuildings. There is a tennis court with a Greek pavilion. There will also be a parking court with garaging for six cars and limousines.
An artist impression was created by Charles Roberts Studios of each of these features to illustrate to potential purchasers the full extent of the project and to communicate the architect’s vision.
We met the client and their estate agent on many occasions to establish what viewpoints were required. We photographed many of the materials specified for the construction, and this was used to create the many textures in the final image.
The challenge to the studio is always to create artists impressions that are not only true to the architect’s vision but also appealing to a potential purchaser. Over the years, the studio has created many unique techniques and built up an extensive database of materials that give us the ability to develop artists impressions that are second to none and are highly detailed, exact to the architect’s plans, and most importantly, a useful property marketing tool.
