Charles Roberts Studios have just completed a series of interior design visualisations for a luxury renovation project in Scotland. The project is a listed Georgian townhouse in the heart of the New Town, Edinburgh. The New Town is considered a masterpiece of city planning unique and exceptional historic character. It was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995.
New Town is framed and articulated by an uncommonly high concentration of planned ensembles of ashlar-faced, world-class, neo-classical buildings, associated with renowned architects, including John and Robert Adam (1728-92), Sir William Chambers (1723-96), and William Playfair (1790-1857).
The challenge for the developer and interior designer was to bring the interior spaces up to date but still retain the historic nature of the structure.
Charles Roberts Studios was commissioned because of our unique specialty in working with historic buildings and our skill in visualising the potential of this interior space.Existing drawing room side view Existing drawing room Contemporary interior design visualiusation drawing room Existing rooftop Artists impression roof top terrace Existing kitchen dining room 3d visualisation high-end kitchen dining room Existing basement kitchen Artist’s impression luxury interior design scotland Existing garden Artist’s impression contemporary garden design Abercromby Place, Edinburgh
